The Hochhaus-Scheidemantel vineyard is in a valley
of rolling hills,bordered on the west by Nahe
River and on the north and the east by the Rhein
River.
After the death of Wilhelm Hochhaus in the Year
1999 his daughter Karin Scheidemantel and her
son David took over and established, in coexistence
with old traditions, a new generation of wine.
Now in it's third generation the Hochhaus-Scheidemantel
vineyard is one of Rheinhessen’s wine growing
families of the future.
They have, over the years, produced wines of
outstanding quality and not quantity so every
wine is only available in small quantities.
The best way to enjoy Hochhaus-Scheidemantel
wine is " Try it".
